But I felt Ellison spent so much time creating a storyline for the Blackcoats instead of focusing on developing the one about the Thorns. I still enjoyed the story, and I liked that the book answered some of my questions about who the Thorns were and where they came from. Review: I liked this book, but I kind of feel like Ellison kind of went off track with it.ĭon’t get me wrong.
